ARTHUR PUBLIC LIBRARY AND COVID-19

Arthur Public Library is actively monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic in order to properly respond with actions recommended by local, state and federal health authorities.

After careful consideration, Arthur Public Library has decided to close to the public to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19.)

This closure will take effect Tuesday, March 17. Reopening is contingent upon Arthur CUSD #305 reopening.

We will not charge overdue fine for overdue items during this time. Our book drop will be open for returns; however please do not return items if you or anyone in your household is sick.

Our purpose is always to serve our community. While closing the library will be inconvenient; we feel that closing is the best way to serve Arthur.

Stay tuned for updates.
