Arthur Public Library
Events
Adult Events
On the first Saturday of each month during the school year, the library hosts a special program just for adults. These events are designed to bring our community together, offering opportunities to learn something new, explore different interests, and enjoy time with others in a welcoming space.
Programs may feature guest speakers, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, or discussions on a variety of engaging topics. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby, gain practical skills, or simply enjoy a morning out, our First Saturday programs are a great way to connect and be inspired.

Summer Reading Club

Outreach
The library is proud to offer a Home Delivery Service for individuals who have difficulty visiting the library in person and live within the Arthur Library service area. If you or someone you know would benefit from having library materials delivered directly to your door, we’re here to help!

Each summer, the Arthur Public Library invites children to join our Summer Reading Club! By reading just 20 minutes a day, kids can build vocabulary, improve comprehension, and keep their literacy skills strong while school is out. Along with great books, the program includes interactive activities, creative crafts, and fun events that encourage confidence and connection in a welcoming space. Open to children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade, the Summer Reading Club offers opportunities to earn prizes and discover new stories all summer long. Best of all, it’s completely free! Join us and help your child color their world with imagination, knowledge, and fun.

Family Fun Events
The Arthur Public Library is proud to host free monthly family events designed to bring the community together for fun, learning, and connection. Each month features something new—such as lively puppet shows, engaging storytellers, hands-on nature education, and creative crafts the whole family can enjoy. These programs are a wonderful way for children and adults to experience the joy of discovery, share stories, and make lasting memories at the library. All are welcome—come join the fun!
